UK Holidays

BLACKPOOL HOTEL

A town hotel with 24-hour reception. The hotel promotes 'true equality' with access for all members of the general public, including those who use wheelchairs. The first floor has an
accessible bathroom with hoist. The second floor has an accessible shower room. The two lifts accommodate wheelchairs. The hotel has fifty rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Ten rooms are accessible and on the ground floor. The hotel has its own car park.

DEVON HOLIDAY PARK

Hallsands, Kingsbridge, South Devon

Apartment 9, sleeps 4: ground floor. Living room with sea views, together with dining room/kitchen. Two bedrooms, both twin rooms - one with en-suite shower room (level access, roll-in shower and grab rails).

Apartment 3, sleeps 6: ground floor. Not wheelchair accessible but can be linked to Apartment 9 (see above) to make a larger apartment. There is a large living/dining room with kitchen and bay window with sea views. Two bedrooms, one of which is a double room, the other bedroom is a 'family room' with 2 single beds and bunk beds.

CORNWALL - HOLIDAY BUNGALOW

A three bedroom, detached bungalow in Falmouth, Cornwall.

Holiday Accommodation

Sleeps up to six people. One double bedroom and two, twin bedrooms. Accessible shower room plus spacious bathroom and second WC. The kitchen, lounge and small dining room are all easily reached om the wide hallway.

Location

Falmouth is on the south coast of Cornwall, approximately ten miles from Truro and sixty miles from Plymouth. The bungalow is in Falmouth Town, so not a countryside location. Close to a local sub-post office/convience store.

Other Features

The bungalow has a garage and off street parking. The back garden has a patio.

Good Access

The bungalow is level throughout. The front door can be reached by a gently sloping pathway with a very accessible gradient of one in fifteen.

MINEHEAD HOTEL, SOMERSET

11 rooms, some with wheel-in showers. 24-hour emergency call system. Gardens, spacious lounge and conservatory. Some first floor rooms have a balcony with beautiful coastline views. Fixed and manual hoists. Care assistance can be arranged for an additional charge.
