Peacefully nestling in the centre
of Bocaddon Farm, we invite you to share this beautiful part of
South East Cornwall with us.
There are three cottages converted from the original
stone farm buildings. These have been superbly constructed, with
the added advantage of being equipped to high standards for the
disabled visitors, very wheelchair friendly.
Our first conversion, "Katies", was completed
in 1998, and visitors have "queued" to return, thus our
two new cottages opened in 2001. The cottages are also very wheelchair
friendly.
We conform to English Tourism Council with four star
rating, offering superior comforts for a memorable holiday.
Public transport connections and mini supermarket
and the Post Office are at Pelynt, 2 miles away. Lanreath village
boasts a large pub that is within walking distance!
Update 2007: A new indoor heated swimming pool has
now been added, with a heated Jaccuzi.
Katie's Cottage
A stone barn conversion. It has a fully equipped
kitchen/living area, including electric cooker, fridge/freezer,
microwave, washing machine, and tumble drier, TV and video plus
telephone. There is a downstairs double bedroom, and upstairs an
open plan twin room vanity unit, which has lovely views of the Cornish
countryside. The bathroom is especially designed to fit the needs
of everybody, including wheelchair users, the bath having a shower
attachment, also a separate overhead shower unit with seat if needed,
and WC. Also a separate WC room. All rooms have central heating
radiators individually operated. All doors are wide for wheelchair
access and all floors are carpeted. A large patio and lawn area
are available, with barbecue if required.
The bathrooms are very roomy, and are designed to
give complete comfort and accessability for our disabled visitors.
Included are roll-in showers with shower seats, baths, and toilets
with hand rails. A hoist is available on request.
Bramble Byre
Bramble Byre opened to its first visitors on July
14th 2001. This barn conversion was the original cow shed, and to
our surprise, the roof beams were in such good order that we have
retained them as a feature of the building. The accomodation, all
ground floor, comprises two bedrooms, en suite, one double, the
other twin. The kitchen/sitting room has electric cooker, fridge/freezer,
microwave, washing machine, and tumble drier, TV and video plus
telephone.
All rooms have central heating radiators individually
operated. All floors are completely level, allowing easy wheelchair
access.
The bathrooms are very roomy, and are designed to
give complete comfort and accessability for our disabled visitors.

with hand rails. A hoist is available on request.
The cottage has its own patio and BBQ.
Dairy Dell
Dairy Dell opened on the 21st of July 2001. This
end of the barn conversion was the dairy, and the dell at the bottom
of the gardens, was where the milk was cooled in churns in the running
water of the natural springs that rise there. The accomodation is
very similar to Bramble Byre, with two bedrooms en suite, but both
these rooms are twins.
The bathrooms are very roomy, and are designed to
give complete comfort and accessability for our disabled visitors.

with hand rails. A hoist is available on request. |
