Hop on Baby!

One of the first thoughts people have when they become disabled is that they will never have a sexual relationship again. This is not so. It is true that a lot of relationships break up as the result of a disability caused by injury or illness, however, the disabled person is then free to start another relationship with someone who has never known them as abled boded, and will love them for who they are now, and not who they were before they were disabled. Disabled people are not asexual beings, they have the same libido as abled boded people, however, due to their disability, they may not be able to express their feelings in conventional physical terms. For disabled people who have lost feeling in their bodies, a lot of the pleasure from making love is more psychological than physical, but non the less just as fulfilling.
