Chilled!

As a sufferer of intense muscle spasms, I was given very high doses of oral Baclofen, Dantrium and Diazapan, which left me so drugged up I couldn't get out of bed. The problem was, whilst on all these drugs, I still suffered from the muscle spasms.

Eventually, I was fitted with a Cordis manual baclofen pump, and later a Medtronic Synchromed baclofen pump, which has transformed my life.

In between these pumps and when the baclofen runs out, the only way I can get some sleep, and keep my legs still, is to take some cannabis.

As well as easing my spasms, the root pain in my arms is also eased which I could not reduce using painkillers.

The UK is currently undertaking trials of cannabis for medical purposes, the results of which will be eagerly waited for by many.
